Every drop of Ammos Red wine comes only from grapes grown on the sunny hills of Dobrogea, Romania, near the Histria fortress.
Riped under the rays of the Dobrogea sun and caressed by the Black Sea breeze, the grapes were harvested at full maturity and sorted by hand in our plantation.
The Romanian wine Ammos Red is a blend obtained from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with a deep ruby red appearance, with purplish hues. It is distinguished by elegant aromas of black fruits, complemented by vanilla and oak valences.
The taste is intense and complex, of red and black fruits and strongly spiced and enriched with a whole spectrum of woody aromas and delicate shades of coffee. The firm tannins and the intensity of the bouquet make this wine excellent for immediate consumption, but it can be kept in the bottle for another 6-7 years.
